Story

This date was just too far and with covid restrictions, illness, the wedding got pushed to a date even further away. Dad was a big part of the planning. He sat and listened to my ideas and helped me choose theme, decorations and colours. But most of all he saw me in my dress this was so important because I am not a girly girl and so far away from my usual sports clothing. My Dad gave me my dress as a gift and told me he would be with me on the day. As he said it pointing and tapping on my head. With a wink and teary eyes, we hugged and I knew. No matter what he would. I promised I needed nobody else I would walk the aisle with him watching over me. So when the day came along my Dad had to be part of it in every way possible. Nothing was going to be too much, I wanted every guest to know how important he was to us and special. - my Dads favourite tie was turned into the perfect rose 🌹 - favour boxes telling every guest about Roy castle and to wear the ribbon with pride. Whilst supporting an amazing cause. - my shoes with one of Dads favourite songs to help me step through the day. - love is a compass 🎶 the perfect fitting song. “When you're lost I will guide you, I'm right there beside you.” - Speeches. Uncle Bill spoke on behalf of the Ansbro’s and represented Dad. Telling the room with an amazing speech. - Mike had a powerful honest speech where tears flowed but we smiled because we were lucky to have him and temper what he brought to our lives. After all he was the one who said “those two will end up together I always knew it!” - the amazing Amy sang Wild Rover 🎶 - We saved his chair with a compass and white rose. Nobody could fill that seat. - photo arch - full of pictures including lots of Dad having fun, celebrating and amazing memories. I could go on we had lots of little subtle treasures held close throughout the day. It was amazing to see our guests wearing the pin badges with pride. Nobody left the wedding not knowing about my AMAZING Dad 💕
