The Lamb Inn in Chinley is a stunning traditional countryside pub. A hidden gem surrounded by hillsode views. 
Dad loved a Thursday lunch time trip. I would call home on my break to see how Mum and Dad were and they would respond 

“We are fine dining at the Lamb, spoiling ourselves”

Dad loved a lunchtime treat and tripout on a Thursday with Mum.
Some of his favourite places they would go were Dunelm for tea and a teacake! The Norfolk for fish and chips or even stopping at the good old village chippy in Hyde… breaking all the rules we had as kids eating in the car!! 

Today (21st December 2022) a date that we would rather forget but this year we chose to continue to celebrate Dads life.. We returned to the Lamb Inn and reminisced with Mum about previous trips and the great memories made.
